I’m Katrin Dirim, a self-taught freelance artist and illustrator from Turkey. I’m fascinated with the art of antiquity and the middle ages and its unique and diverse beauty. I seek to capture the same kind of beauty in my own art, and use it to tell a wide range of stories. My work has its basis on frescoes, pottery, mosaics, illuminations and heraldry, trying to remind of these forms of art while staying unique and not simply copying. Most of my work until now has been for fantasy Tabletop Roleplaying Games and adjacent publications.
